You know you’re heading someplace special when a bellman personally escorts you via a separate express elevator to the Monte Carlo Hotel’s top 32nd floor. Once the doors open, you are in the lap of luxury in Hotel 32, an exclusive boutique VIP experience that perhaps other Vegas properties reserve only for high rollers and celebrities. A personal Suite Assistant escorts you to your room, provides a private check- in, and introduces you to the myriad of amenities and features that await including in room espresso machines and bathroom mirrors inlaid with paper-thin flat panel TVs.
Off the lobby, Lounge32 enhances the pampering even further with floor to ceiling views
of the Vegas skyline and the ultramodern Aria Hotel glistening prominently in the foreground.
But before you order anything from the bar or sample some hors d’oeuvres, you’ll graciously be served their signature High Rise cocktail. Its red hue matches the hotel’s underlying red theme from the elevator doors to the red rose petals sprinkled over the en suite spa tubs. The best part is that now you can relive this lofty experience by making it yourself upon returning to the everyday world:
1.5 oz. melon liqueur
1.5 oz. Malibu Rum
1.5 oz. Crème de Noyaux
2 oz. Cranberry juice
2 oz. Apple & Pineapple juice
1 splash 7 Up
1 splash Sweet and Sour Mix
Pour melon liqueur, Malibu rum, and Crème de Noyaux into a shaker with ice cubes. Add a splash of 7 Up and Sour Mix. Fill with juices, shake, and pour over ice. Add a fresh green mint leaf.
