Java Juice Packet
For true coffee lovers, just the mention of instant coffee induces cringes. This has a lot to do with past performance for many instant mixes on the market. Freeze dried, pulverized, coffee flavor powders…all of them are as far as you can get from top quality fresh roasted beans. Java Juice extract is just what the name indicates…juice extracted from the organic Arabica beans…so it’s in liquid form, basically espresso in a pouch! Merging eco- sustainability with convenience, Java Juice marks a quantum leap in quality and convenience for single serve coffee.
Here’s how it works: Pour hot or cold water into a cup, travel mug, or thermos. Then add contents of Java Juice packet and stir. Suggested proportions are anywhere from 8 oz. to 12 oz. oz of water to one packet of Java Juice. Typically 7 packets of Java Juice in ½ gallon of water will make 8 cups of strong coffee. Each packet contains 100 mg of caffeine (about the same amount found in a double shot of espresso).
So how do they do it? Think of a Godzilla-sized French press which extracts a concentrated liquid while retaining all of the aroma and body of fresh brewed coffee. Java Juice® was first developed in Venice, California by master coffee roaster Richard Karno, founder of Groundwork Coffee. Originally, Karno created a coffee extract as an efficient way to make iced-blended mocha drinks. With Java Juice extract, the baristas didn’t waste

time or coffee pulling espresso shots and the Java Juice didn’t melt the ice in the blended drinks. The result was a smoother creamier drink with more coffee flavor.
My experience with Java Juice hit on all cylinders of my senses…the aroma and flavor was pure triple ristretto richness…the best that top-quality fresh roasted beans can offer. Ice coffee provided the most notable flavor experience. Usually you get a watered-down impact even if starting out with fresh-brewed coffee out of the urn…but this my friends is the real deal…room temperature fresh extracted espresso just begging for cold water and ice cubes.
