This infographic took me by surprise. When I hear coupons, I automatically envision my grandmother hunkered over store flyers with scissors clipping little bits of paper to save 10 cents off a can of tomato paste. Well as we know, coupons or special offers come in many forms. And since Groupon, even the more tried-and-true traditional coupons have shed their stodgy image. But did you know that individuals with annual incomes exceeding $150,000 are 12% more likely to use coupons than those with annual incomes of less than $40,000? I’m seeing a strong argument here for using special offers if you cater to high net worth customers…namely those booking distinctive travel experiences and seeking artisan foods matching their exacting health and taste requirements.
