The Maitres Cuisiners de France (French Master Chefs) are taking Vegas’s Venetian-Palazzo March 5-9, 2014! This 5-day event will be the first ever held in the U.S. so it’s only appropriate that Venetian-Palazzo, a 5-diamond resort home to more James Beard Award-winning chefs than any other destination in the world is the site of this prestigious event. A Maitres Cuisiner himself, Olivier Dubreuil, The Venetian-Palazzo’s Executive chef was key in bringing this event to the Vegas strip.
Maîtres Cuisiniers de France are often given the highest classification in restaurant guides. Their association continually works to promote the French culinary arts. Red Labels and “Appellations d’Origine Contrôlée” or European signs of quality, such as the IGP, AOP and STG are all thanks to them.
Nearly 150 Master Chefs will stay at The Venetian-Palazzo for this event adding new members to their roster as well. I can only imagine the culinary preparations taking place right now throughout the property’s kitchens!
