I don’t buy prepared soups anymore. It’s not so much that the ingredients are generic and rather tasteless. Sodium is the main culprit, with inferior soup stock close on its heals. Months long frozen carrots and ultra processed chicken cubes just don’t flavor a soup. Panera’s soups seem to be different. I tasted their low fat chicken noodle soup and it surpassed leading brand canned soups by far. It was simply less salty which meant less encumbered chicken flavor with gentler yet unmistakable carrot and noodle undertones. Perfect for satisfying your chicken noodle soup cravings when it’s not on the menu in your own kitchen!
